Pitching The Right Salary

Salary is one of the hardest topics to bring up as people tend to feel embarrassed. Do not feel embarrassed but be confident about pitching your salary. Here are some words of advice that will help you to find the right salary:
• Find out how much you should be earning (if necessary use our salary survey).
• Speak to one of our Recruitment Consultants in order to get a better understanding of specific market supply, demand and benefits that you can expect.
• Do not discuss salaries until the later stages of a job interview.
• Remember to look at all the benefits that are offered such as holiday and car allowance.
• Be careful when discussing the salary as you don’t want to appear overly demanding.

When you do come to negotiations about salary don’t come across as desperate and take your time when accepting any offers.
